Are you in for a new beginning?

I am a very good lip reader, I do not know sign, can learn it with my next patient companion. I lost my hearing at the age of 4, I had measles and high fever. I do speak very well. I have been in a hearing environment all my life. I have decided to experience the deaf world, somehow I feel we can understand each other better. Below is my search poem...........enjoy.
